Welcome to the Southsea Sea Angling Club
We are a friendly local sea angling club at the heart of the community with a secure boat compound off Ferry Road, Eastney.
Established in 1917 we are one of the oldest sea angling clubs on the south coast and one of the first to adopt a responsible catch and release policy for our competitions, one fish only of each species to be weighed in.
Adjacent to the public slipway and ample free parking facilities. This offers our members unrivalled access from our yard gate directly into Langstone harbour and your gateway to the Solent. From the mouth of the harbour on a starboard heading you have Eastney beach, Portsmouth harbour, our famous forts and the Isle of Wight with reach. On a port heading you will find Hayling bay, Chichester harbour, Selsey and Beyond.
